3 Reasons Why You Can’t Follow Twitter Users Again

Its has always been my concern when i tried to follow some twitter user and can’t follow them, which i later detect i can’t follow anyone if i already follow 2000+ user and have less followers, so i came up with the reason which may have stop me from following new users. Bellow are 3 possible reason for this stoppage.

1. Follow limit Reached

Every Twitter user are currently limited to have 2000 followers, and you may have been seeing some other users following more than 2000 users and you are wondering how this particular user exceed the limit, Well, twitter allow everybody to follow up to 2000 users without any error, but once you hit the 2000 follow limit they will then stop you from following more users until you get 2000 followers. If you find it difficult to get more followers, The solution to this is to either unfollow those who do not follow you or unfollow inactive twitter users.

2. 2000+ Followers But Still Can Follow

This can also be the problem, the No.1 above tell you once you cross 2000 it will always be that you can follow only 10% of the number of followers you have. Say you have 5000 followers and you are following 4000 users, then you can only follow (10% of your 5000 followers) i.e. 500 more. (I’m not too sure about this so please correct me if I’m wrong)

3. No.1 and 2 Wasn’t The Case

This is a classical 1000 follows a day limit.
Whatever may be your follower or friend count, you cannot follow more than 1000 twitter users in a day.

The above 3 Reasons were possible reasons that may not allow you to follow anyone on twitter.

Note: The follow limit sometimes be 2,003.
